Inspection Reports - Color-Coded Signage System

View Inspection Results IconInitiated in 2006, the color-coded signage system in Columbus and Worthington aims to accurately inform the public of the health and safety status of businesses licensed by Columbus Public Health.  Types of businesses licensed include:

These dated and color-coded signs inform the public of the most recent inspection conducted, and show what standing the business is in regarding that inspection. 

Green Sign

 
Green: All standard inspections have been conducted and the business has met the standards of Columbus Public Health. Green Sign  Red: All businesses that the Board of Health has ordered closed or when a facility is on probation and has uncorrected critical violations during inspection.  

Green Sign

 
Yellow: All businesses that are in the enforcement process due to uncorrected critical violations found during follow-up inspections. Green Sign  White: All businesses that are on probation by the Columbus Board of Health.  

Green SignHealthier, Safer People Honor Award: Certificate awarded annually to licensed businesses that have an exemplary health and safety record with Columbus Public Health for 1 calendar year of inspections.
