Vital Statistics Service Change
Effective until furthur notice, Columbus Public Health does not provide same day service for birth certificate requests. All requests for birth certificates will be handled for next day pickup after 10:00 am or next day mailout.
Death Certificates
Same day service will still be available for death certificate requests 10:00 am – 2:00 pm daily.

If you need same day service for a birth certificate you can receive same day service at the Ohio Department of Health
