The Columbus community is experiencing a significant increase in syphilis cases.  Due to the increase in syphilis cases, Columbus Public Health is providing recommendations for patient screenings in an effort to reduce the number of future cases.

Special Alert - Shigella

There has been an increase in the number of Shigella cases reported since June 1, 2008 for Franklin County. We are asking healthcare providers to educate their patients on how to reduce the spread of illness from diarrhea.
